Die Cast Operator Peoplelink Staffing, in partnership with a leading manufacturer, is seeking Die Cast Operators to join their team! This full-time opportunity is ideal for individuals with manufacturing experience who are ready to work in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. Job Summary Pay: Competitive, based on experience Schedule: Full-Time Location: Manufacturing facility Work Conditions: Exposure to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, vibration, and temperature extremes; noise levels range from low to high depending on location Die Cast Operator Responsibilities Operate die cast machines and trim press machines to produce aluminum cast parts Apply die lubricants and remove castings from tools Operate all cell equipment including: Die cast machines Trim presses Automatic sprayers Extraction equipment Hoists Holding furnaces Tip lubricators Hot oil units Metal loading equipment Robotics and automated equipment Perform basic preventative maintenance and repairs Use required gauges and complete all necessary paperwork Communicate issues to supervision and support personnel Adhere to quality, safety, housekeeping, attendance, and productivity standards Support safety and 5S initiatives including surveys, audits, and monitoring Other duties as assigned Qualifications High School Diploma or GED (preferred) One or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment Forklift certification may be required Skills & Competencies Ability to operate all die cast equipment Identify and correct problems with dies, machines, or castings Assist with die setups Follow verbal and written instructions Perform basic math calculations Communicate effectively with supervisors and support staff Teamwork and cooperation Adaptability to changing priorities Attention to detail and problem-solving Leadership and initiative in addressing issues Physical Requirements Continuous standing, walking, bending, and reaching Handling parts weighing 5-75 lbs (lift assist provided for heavier parts) Repetitive upper extremity work and gripping (50 lbs grip strength required) Frequent bending and visual inspection Exposure to molten metal temperatures (1200-1300°F) Continuous mental and visual attention required Safety, Health, and Environmental Follow the Safety, Health, and Environmental Program as outlined in the SHE Policy Statement Adhere to the Quality Management System (QMS) and Quality Policy Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities Why Peoplelink Staffing?
