Key Responsibilities: - Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment.- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.- Perform necessary medical procedures and interventions per unit protocols and patient needs.- Maintain accurate patient records and utilize the GE documentation system (Expanse).- Adhere to hospital policies and protocols, including safety and infection control measures. Unit Specifics: - Number of Beds: 18 head walls, 10 halls- Patient Ratios: 5:1- Variable staffing model including unit secretaries and tech availability- Required to float as necessary Qualifications: - Current and active Compact RN license required at the time of submission.- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute).- Strong emergency room skill set with advanced skills in procedures performed on the unit.
