We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to lead and implement workplace safety and environmental compliance programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing and

. This opportunity could lead into corporate safety leadership positions. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and manage EHS programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify hazards and implement corrective actions. Lead environmental compliance efforts, including air, water, and waste management programs. Provide training to employees on workplace safety, hazardous materials handling, and emergency response. Investigate accidents and incidents, identifying root causes and implementing preventive measures. Collaborate with plant leadership to integrate EHS initiatives into daily operations. Maintain and update EHS policies, procedures, and documentation. Serve as the primary contact for regulatory agencies, ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant bodies. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (4-year degree) in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in an EHS role, preferably in a manufacturing setting. Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance standards (e.g., EPA, OSHA). Experience developing and implementing EHS programs in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams. Professional certifications (e.g., CSP, CHMM, CIH) are a plus.
