Job Description
The Senior Credit Analyst, reporting to the Credit Manager, will be responsible for:
Investigating and resolving customer deductions. Providing necessary proof of delivery, invoice, and packing information to dispute short payments in a timely manner. Identifying and proposing corrective steps to avoid future chargebacks.
Developing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with assigned customers, as well as internal departments.
Reporting and tracking aged receivables promptly and consistently for assigned customer accounts. Proactively managing due invoices, processing credit notes, and evaluating customer credit limits.
Account reconciliation and submission of offsets / write-offs as needed to resolve open items on accounts.
Reviewing all unapplied cash on accounts and submitting for application.
Adhering to all departmental internal controls while reviewing accounts for order release.
Assisting with any additional responsibilities for reporting and audits as needed.
Qualifications:
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office programs.
Experience with SAP S4 Hana is a plus.
Experience with department store chargebacks is required.
Experience in commercial credit, collections, or accounts receivable is required.
Experience in a consumer products company is preferred.
Must be a self-starter and multi-tasker with extreme attention to detail and accuracy. The candidate should work well in fast-paced environments and contribute to building a best-in-class team culture.
Compensation Range:
