Job Summary The Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer will be responsible for leading the accounting function for Delek US Holdings and Delek Logistics. This is a strategic leadership position focused on process improvement, leveraging technology, and developing the team. This position requires a leader with strong analytical and strategic abilities who can effectively manage the accounting process and will engage frequently with the executive team and Board. The ideal candidate has a strong foundational knowledge of US GAAP and understands SEC reporting requirements to interface effectively with external reporting. Responsibilities include maintaining and implementing accounting policies, process improvements, and system upgrades. As Delek is a growth organization, the VP, Chief Accounting Officer will also lead ongoing operational M&A activities. The Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer will partner with business leaders to ensure the accounting process supports current operations and future improvements. This role will interface with finance and business leaders such as the EVP of Commercial, EVP of Logistics, EVP of IT, SVP of Supply Chain, and other cross-functional areas. Role & Responsibilities : Lead and direct the activities of a large team (> 100) including Corporate Accounting, Commercial/Refining/Retail Accounting, General Accounting, and outsourced service providers. Ensure US GAAP compliance in accounting processes. Ensure compliance with Delek’s SOX 404 controls. Oversee the collection and consolidation of financial data for accurate reporting. Collaborate with IT to ensure SAP and trade systems properly record and report financial information. Develop accounting processes and procedures to generate accurate financial statements. Assist in reviewing SEC filings for accurate financial reporting. Work with external auditors during audits and reviews. Support operational business units in developing transparent financial processes. Manage hiring, training, and development of staff. Candidate Profile The successful candidate will be a strategic leader with a proven track record in driving change and achieving results. They must thrive in a complex, fast-paced environment, with a focus on continuous improvement and organizational transformation. Required Qualifications – Education, Skills & Experience : Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA required. 20+ years of accounting experience, including 10+ years leading large teams. Energy industry experience required. Deep understanding of accounting processes, GAAP, and control points. Proficient in SAP (preferred). Strong leadership, collaboration, and decision-making skills.
