Senior Applications Consultant Automation Architect - Mobile Testing
About the job you’re considering
We are seeking a seasoned Architect with over 10 years of experience in test automation to lead the design and implementation of mobile automation frameworks. This role requires deep expertise in mobile testing, strong analytical skills, and the ability to drive quality assurance across complex enterprise systems.
Your role
Test Architects are responsible for defining test strategies, planning, development, and execution. They will collaborate with IT Domains teams to ensure functional requirements are well-defined and tests are executed as planned. They will drive the definition and testing of functional and automation requirements, coordinating efforts across teams that develop and deploy software enhancements and new products within the company's technology platform.
This role involves test planning, writing test cases/scripts, and tracking multiple test efforts simultaneously. The candidate should synthesize results efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in MF ALM / Octane Test Suite or other Test Management Tools is required. Knowledge of the Telecom mobile domain is preferred.
Your skills and experience
Required experience: 12+ years
Hands-on experience with mobile automation testing and test case design
Proficient in API testing using Postman, SOAP UI, or Swagger
Experience with test management tools like MF ALM / Octane
Understanding of the Software Bug Life Cycle and QA best practices
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in complex environments
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Exposure to Agile and DevOps methodologies
Ability to lead and mentor QA teams on automation best practices
Experience in test data management and environment readiness
