The Director of Consumer Website Marketing will lead and oversee all web marketing initiatives across Meta’s consumer-facing properties. This leadership role requires a strategic mindset to drive growth through SEO and other key marketing levers across multiple verticals including commerce, brand and corporate foundations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proven leadership and team management capabilities, fostering collaboration and innovation. This is a full-time position based in North America.
Director, Consumer Website Marketing Responsibilities:
Lead the Development and Execution of Web Marketing Strategies: Craft and implement multifaceted web marketing strategies to solidify and enhance Meta’s online presence Team Management and Mentorship: Guide and empower a team of marketing professionals, including the SEO Manager and Commerce Lead, ensuring alignment with Meta’s overarching business objectives Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize comprehensive analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of web marketing strategies, ensuring decisions are informed by robust data insights Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strengthen collaboration with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, ensuring marketing initiatives are synchronized with product development and corporate goals Drive SEO and Commerce Innovation: Spearhead innovative SEO and commerce web marketing initiatives that push the envelope in consumer engagement and market penetration
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree 15+ years of experience in web marketing or a related field 5+ years of experience in people management Experience managing, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams towards achieving ambitious goals Demonstrated analytical skills and strategic thinking capabilities are crucial for driving web marketing success
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience leading web marketing efforts for a comprehensive digital platform Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) Demonstrated knowledge of SEO, SEM, social media, and content marketing best practices Demonstrated communication and organizational skills with a pronounced focus on strategic planning and execution
