The Mission
We're building an AI-powered insurance brokerage that's transforming the $900 billion commercial insurance market by automating processes that currently run on pre-internet systems. Fresh off our $8M seed round, we're looking for an exceptional AI Forward Deployed Engineer who can rapidly solve business problems and deliver immediate value across growth, sales, operations, and customer service. You'll be our frontline problem solver, working directly with business teams to create 10x operational leverage through AI. You'll build outer loop AI agents that process hundreds of leads, enable dynamic human-AI collaboration, automate complex operational workflows, and allow one person to effectively manage thousands of customers. You'll create Uber-like routing systems, increase campaign velocity, and transform how teams operate. When the platform doesn't have what you need, you'll build it—then work with platform teams to incorporate these capabilities into our reusable infrastructure. Build outer loop AI agents that create massive leverage across business functions:
Growth : Increase outbound campaign velocity, process hundreds of leads from ads, create Uber-like dynamic placement system for routing between humans and AI agents Sales : Automate qualification, routing, and follow-up processes to maximize conversion Operations : Transform transaction operations, revenue operations, and customer service with AI-powered workflows Customer Service : Enable one person to effectively manage thousands of customers through intelligent automation
Rapidly prototype and deploy solutions that directly impact business metrics Own the analytics and data-driven decision making for your assigned business areas Create frontend experiences and dashboards that make AI capabilities accessible to non-technical users Develop voice AI systems for information collection, follow-ups, and cold outbound campaigns Build dynamic routing systems that intelligently distribute work between AI agents and humans Implement solutions that increase team throughput and operational efficiency by 10x or more Quickly identify gaps in platform capabilities and either build solutions or collaborate with platform teams Port successful prototypes into the platform for reusable, scalable infrastructure Design and implement A/B testing frameworks for optimizing AI agent performance Create data-driven insights and reporting that drive strategic decisions You're Our Person If

Strong full-stack development skills with TypeScript/Node.js and Python Expertise in frontend development with Next.js/React Proven ability to rapidly prototype and iterate on solutions Experience building systems that create 10x+ operational leverage Experience with dynamic routing systems and resource allocation algorithms Experience with voice AI integration and conversational interfaces Experience building high-volume lead processing and campaign automation systems Ability to work directly with business stakeholders and translate requirements into technical solutions Experience with analytics and data-driven decision making Experience with AI/ML integration and prompt engineering Strong understanding of how to incorporate reliability and scalability into rapid prototypes Experience with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks Track record of delivering measurable business impact through technical solutions Advanced usage of Cursor or WindSurf coding IDE for rapid development Previous experience in a customer-facing or forward deployed engineering role preferred Must be based in San Francisco and work in-office 5.5 days per week (relocation assistance provided) Our Tech Stack

This is an early-stage role at a fast-moving startup, and you'll often experience the crawl-walk-run approach to building. You'll quickly prototype applications and then push them into productionized systems that can scale. We're looking for people who can be creative in providing impact first, then take learnings from that impact and push them back into the system. Think of yourself as similar to a Palantir Forward Deployed Engineer—embedded with the business, understanding their problems deeply, and building solutions that deliver immediate value and create leverage for teams. You'll work directly with business teams, other forward deployed engineers, platform teams, the CTO, CEO, and functional leads to execute on our vision with a bias toward action.
