Director of Racquet Sports

iTennis/iPickle - Southern California’s largest tennis and pickleball facility management company, has an immediate opening for a Director of Racquet Sports at its public facility in the City of Riverside at Andulka park. This beautiful center features 9 tennis courts (including a clay court and stadium court) and 4 dedicated pickleball courts. The City of Riverside is located 55 miles due east of Los Angeles and is the largest city in the inland empire with a population of 315,000. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified candidate to lead a top tier recreational tennis and pickleball facility with an existing staff of 7 tennis pros and 1 pickleball pro. We are looking for a fun, enthusiastic professional who will be the face of the facility. Successful applicants should be at a minimum of a 4.5 playing level for tennis and should have an active participation and/or appreciation for pickleball.. We are looking for a professional who is equally adept at teaching both private and group lessons to players of all ages and abilities. Critical to success will be the applicant’s ability to run high energy/fast paced group clinics as well as oversee staff implementation of the same. Applicants will be evaluated based upon work experience, demonstrated teaching capability, leadership qualities, education, playing experience and ability to create and administer new programming. Experience with social media marketing is a plus. Although it is a Director position, the successful applicant should expect to make most of their income on court. We require an on court presence of a minimum of 20 hours per week (10 hours of groups/10 hours of privates). The successful applicant may teach as many hours beyond 20 as they choose.
