DevOps Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer (AWS)

Job Description: • Design, build, and maintain the automated infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and runtime environments that support the data governance platform on AWS, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security. Required Skills / Experience • Required Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree • 4–7 years of hands-on DevOps or site reliability engineering experience in cloud environments (preferably AWS) • Proficiency with Terraform or CloudFormation for IaC • Solid understanding of Linux administration and scripting (Python, Bash) • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline) • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes (production deployments in EKS) • Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, network, and application layers • Good communication skills to work across cross-functional teams and document operational practices Software / Technical Experience: • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Ansible • CI/CD platforms: Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline • Containerization & orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes (EKS) • Scripting/programming: Python, Bash, or PowerShell • Monitoring & logging: Prometheus/Grafana, ELK Stack, AWS CloudWatch • Version control: Git (GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket) • Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, VPC, IAM)
