Solution Architect - Revenue Cloud (work remote from anywhere in the US)
Thunder's Solution Architect is responsible for collaborating with our customers' technology and business stakeholders to develop a scalable Salesforce architecture, vision, and strategy that enables best-in-class business outcomes. Our Solution Architects are responsible for ensuring that the solution design and system deliverables meet the defined acceptance criteria, while governing the execution of implementation deliverables.
This Solution Architect acts as a liaison between our customer and the Thunder team, translating client requirements into the architecture for key client needs. Ideal candidates will have previous consulting experience specifically in Salesforce Revenue Cloud (RCA, CPQ, Billing), and will partner with the Practice Leader and Technical Architect to adhere to best practices related to solution design, documentation, and guidelines.
Role & Responsibilities
Responsible for overall Revenue Cloud (CPQ & Billing) solution design and implementation.
Lead client architecture initiatives from inception to completion, collaborating with business users to create architecture aligned with business needs.
Conduct business and technology analysis and provide CRM domain expertise.
Act as a technical subject matter expert for business users and challenge viewpoints as necessary.
Promote the adoption of reusable architecture assets to improve efficiency (including Thunder's solutions and accelerators).
Create documentation to aid in understanding existing architecture solutions.
Mentor Revenue Cloud / CPQ Consultants and other junior team members across Thunder.
Required Qualifications
4-6+ years of consulting experience within the Salesforce partner/consulting ecosystem.
2+ years leading projects as a Solution Architect within Revenue Cloud, with demonstrated ability to architect solutions and independently solution for various clients, including complex enterprise engagements.
Extensive knowledge of Salesforce products such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
Comprehensive understanding of software, applications, platforms, and business modeling, governance, and operations.
Strong skills in business processes, documentation, and process improvement.
Willingness to obtain additional certifications on emerging technologies as required.
Required Salesforce Certifications: CPQ Specialist, Revenue Cloud Accredited Professional.
