Remote SEO Specialist at EyeUniversal LLC
EyeUniversal is a Digital Agency based out of Southern California. We're looking for an experienced, remote SEO Specialist to join our team. You will work closely with the Marketing and Development departments. This is a remote, telecommute, and contract position. Must speak English fluently.
Please note:
Only candidates with 7+ years of professional SEO experience will be considered. We do not need client-facing candidates; we need individuals who can execute tasks and meet deadlines efficiently. Overview Coordinate SEO efforts, including onsite and offsite optimization and keyword research. Preferably with agency and corporate background. Must be analytical, perceptive, a skilled communicator, and able to collaborate with various teams. Current knowledge of SEO practices and techniques is essential. Ensure content is search-engine friendly and optimized to increase profitability. Experience with backlinking and outreach is preferred. Duties: Develop and implement effective SEO strategies. Coordinate content, design, social media, PPC marketing, and other activities. Manage offsite and onsite optimization projects and report on performance. Build strategic links with innovative strategies and measure their effectiveness. Avoid Web 2.0 link-building methods like PPT, PDFs, classified submissions, and social bookmarking. Responsibilities: Execute successful SEO strategies. Work independently and stay self-motivated. Conduct keyword research to guide content teams. Review technical SEO issues and recommend solutions. Optimize website content, landing pages, and paid search copy. Lead off-page optimization projects, such as link building. Collect data and report on traffic, rankings, and other SEO metrics. Collaborate with social media and PPC teams to optimize campaigns. Stay updated on SEO and marketing trends. Requirements: Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role. Knowledge of current SEO practices. Knowledge of HTML/CSS. Experience with SEO reporting tools. Experience with Local SEO and NAP submissions. Deep experience with Google keyword suggestions. Familiarity with tools like Conductor, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Majestic, SpyFu, MOZ, and analytics tools like Google Analytics. Ability to acquire high-authority white-hat backlinks from high-traffic websites. Excellent written and spoken English communication skills. Strong organizational and leadership skills. Analytical mindset with numerical aptitude. BSc/BA in Marketing, Business, or related field. Availability for bi-weekly check-in Zoom meetings (PST mornings). Extra Considerations: Professional references. Established industry and remote working experience. Portfolio or case studies of past projects. Experience with platforms like Slack, Asana, Trello, Hubstaff, etc.
