The Consulting and Operations BL comprises three service lines:

SL Operations & Maintenance: managing 5,000 km of motorway, 20 airports, a metro, and mobility services, with around 6,000 employees and nearly 400 million euros in turnover.

SL Advisory: approximately 500 employees and nearly 100 million euros in sales.

SL Aviation Consulting & Engineering: around 300 employees and nearly 80 million euros in sales.

About the Role

The ESG/Climate Director reports directly to the Director of the Consulting & Operations Business Line. They work closely with all Service Lines and Regions to ensure ESG commitments are met. The role involves managing one direct report and collaborating with ESG coordinators across the Business Line.

Main responsibilities include:

Overseeing the O&M carbon footprint calculations, supported by each O&M company.

Supervising the implementation of the decarbonization action plan to meet Science-Based Targets.

Coordinating the C&O BL participation in Egis's “Carbon initiative”.

Leading eco-design training at the BL level, including adaptation for Aviation SL projects.

Calculating contributive turnover at BL level and developing contributive offers across regions and services.

Supporting project acquisition phases with ESG input.

Providing ESG analysis for M&A activities and subsidiary integrations.

Participating in group-level ESG initiatives, including CSRD compliance, ISO 14001 environmental management, and defining sustainable development orientations (2026-2029).

Candidate Profile

Languages:

Fluent in English and French.

Education:

Master’s degree in environmental science, sustainability, or related field.

Experience:

Minimum 10 years in ESG or sustainability, preferably in infrastructure.

Knowledge:

Deep understanding of ESG principles and frameworks (e.g., carbon footprint, SBTi, CSRD). Strong analytical, strategic, and project management skills.

Personal Skills:

Excellent communication, leadership, change management, and interpersonal skills.
