Senior Software Engineer I (Workflow) Job Type:

New York, NY Salary Range:
$150,000 - $170,000 The Opportunity As a Senior Software Engineer I, you will lead multiple Kargo products and mentor team members. Your focus will be on our internal and self-serve web apps for buying and managing advertising campaigns. You will collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Design teams to develop clean, high-performing code, shaping our creative and collaborative processes. The Daily To-Do Build new functionalities and improve reliability of our web apps. Stay informed about Programmatic, Prebid, and other industry initiatives. Help select appropriate tools and technologies for projects. Define guidelines and best practices to improve team efficiency. Identify bug patterns, implement tests, and monitor platforms to prevent issues. Participate in architecture planning, code reviews, and knowledge sharing sessions. Manage and upgrade deployment processes. Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance. Explore new technologies, prototype solutions, and design user-centric features. Qualifications B.S or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent experience. At least 8 years of software industry experience. Experience as a Tech Lead or in a leadership role. Strong portfolio (e.g., GitHub) demonstrating relevant work. Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle, including QA and deployment. Experience reviewing code and mentoring developers. Expertise in at least one major programming language and framework(s). Experience with Angular, ReactJS, Node.js, PHP, and/or Go. Ability to develop ideas from conception to production.
