Staff Software Development Engineer (Fullstack) - Developer Portal

for our Mountain View, CA office. This team will shape the business's interactions with ID.me and over 100 million members, managing the onboarding lifecycle, policies, analytics, and billing. Your work will directly engage with members through their accounts, enhancing user satisfaction and trust, while maintaining data integrity and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain efficient, interactive, and responsive user interfaces. Deliver complex features independently and guide team members on their deliverables. Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to solve problems and build solutions. Maintain and refactor legacy code while developing modern services. Demonstrate mastery of object-oriented programming, tools, and technologies. Solve complex technical problems with ambiguity. Mentor junior developers through code reviews and knowledge sharing. Own and ship features end-to-end, including testing, monitoring, and documentation. Ship small and medium features with minimal guidance, collaborating on larger projects. Translate UX/UI wireframes into code, bridging design and implementation. Optimize application for scalability, maintainability, and speed. Qualifications 8+ years of front-end development experience, including server-side rendering. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Experience with Web Components for at least one year. Strong obsession for building quality products. Understanding of relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL. Experience with B2C/B2B applications, onboarding, and dashboards. Experience with A/B testing and interpreting results. Experience deploying in cloud environments, preferably GCP. Ability to adapt to changing priorities. Excellent communication skills and team-oriented attitude. Self-starter with a passion for software engineering and continuous learning. At least one year of experience with web technologies like HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, REST APIs, or Git. Startup experience preferred. The annual base salary ranges from $183,367 to $214,500 USD in Mountain View, CA, with additional bonuses, equity, and benefits based on experience and role.
