Graphic Designer

ATR International is seeking a Graphic Designer for a major client! POSITION SUMMARY : Responsible for designing and creating packaging and product artwork for supporting the manufacturing requirements for all products produced by the Surgical Package Labeling Operations Innovation Group. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Responsible for the graphic design requirements for packaging and product artwork, including the production of labels, lidstock, and display box artwork; support for formal artwork approvals; and maintenance of packaging labeling development procedures. Verifies vendor proofs, makes corrections, or communicates changes to ensure all printed components match approved artwork files. JOB QUALIFICATIONS : Completed Bachelors Degree 2+ years related experience in graphic design production. Experience in the development of labeling for the medical device industry preferred Fluent in Adobe CC software programs : InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, MAC user Package or product labeling design experience with strong attention to detail Preparing artwork for print production, proofing artwork Location : North Haven, CT Hourly Rate : $25 - $31 Benefits include : -MEC / ACP Medical -Voluntary Dental, Vision, Life, Supplemental Income -401k (must meet requirements) -sick leave as required by state / county ATR International Inc will not sponsor applicants for the following work visas H1B and STEM OPT I-983 form.
