Senior Instructional Designer

What you will be doing:
The Senior Instructional Designer is responsible for consulting with internal stakeholders to recommend learning solutions, managing and creating instructional design training materials, collaborating across the company, and designing and developing learning solutions. The role also involves managing mid to large-scale instructional design initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Design and develop training course material using instructional design techniques and adult learning theory.
Filter incoming training requests, size projects, create delivery timelines, and collaborate on the best methods for delivering training.
Serve as liaison to training request stakeholders to ensure project delivery aligns with specifications and timelines.
Build assessments to support and analyze learning effectiveness.
Create training and job aids for instructor-led and online delivery.
Develop learning objectives including audience, behavior, conditions, and standards.
Build webpages, portals, or widgets to support training initiatives.
Design and create various materials, applying research skills to instructional design projects.
Assess current training content and drive improvements, creativity, and innovation in content display and distribution.
Develop and implement multiple learning projects, including games, distance learning, motion graphics, and CBT.
Here’s what you’ll bring to the team:
Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
Experience with instructional design technologies creatively used.
Expertise in adult learning and instructional design across formats like instructor-led, eLearning, mobile, and performance support.
Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills to meet deadlines and manage workloads.
Experience hiring and managing freelance content producers.
Proficiency with instructional design software such as Storyline and Visio.
Leadership skills in developing teams and guiding through change.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
Hands-on experience with various digital devices and understanding of next-generation technologies.
Experience with administrative duties like IT tickets and data management.
At least 2 years applying instructional design and adult learning methodologies.
