Working from either Honolulu, Hawaii or Los Angeles, California, the Director of Global Supply Chain is a strategic and hands-on leader with end-to-end supply chain experience, a strong background in the consumer packaged goods industry, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams while driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.
Position Overview
A Hawaii-headquartered, globally distributed consumer goods company seeks an experienced Director of Global Supply Chain to lead its end-to-end supply chain operations across multiple markets. This role will drive strategic planning and execution across procurement, co-manufacturing, demand planning, warehousing, logistics, and distribution. The ideal candidate is both a visionary leader and a hands-on operator who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about building resilient, high-performing teams. The position can be based in Honolulu or Los Angeles, supporting operations across Hawaii, the mainland U.S., and international locations.
Responsibilities
Lead all aspects of the global supply chain, including sourcing, procurement, inventory, logistics, and contract manufacturing
Drive the SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) process to optimize alignment across business units
Manage supplier relationships and develop strategies for cost control and supply chain resilience
Oversee warehousing and freight distribution operations to improve efficiency and performance
Develop KPIs and dashboards to monitor and optimize supply chain performance
Support demand planning and forecasting to ensure supply aligns with business goals
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in operations, sales, and finance
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and hands-on leadership
Supervise and develop a team of professionals across key supply chain functions

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience considered
10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, with 5+ years in a leadership role
CPG industry experience strongly preferred
Proven success in leading global or multi-site supply chain operations
Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities
Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CSCP) preferred
