Position Overview

Inseego is seeking a Senior Director, Program Management Office (PMO). The Senior Director, Program Management will be accountable for managing and coordinating all product programs and launches, ensuring they meet financial targets, quality objectives, and are delivered on time. This role will lead global product program activity, manage communications, and coordinate efforts across global cross-functional teams, including technical program managers, customer-facing PMs, technical account managers, and field engineering. This role also involves supporting business segments, engineering centers, and global manufacturing plants through complex, high-judgment program management tasks.

Responsibilities

Own and run the global schedule for all program reviews Lead the phase gate process including gate reviews, risk management, and financial/timing analysis Coordinate cross-functional product program gate reviews from concept through end-of-life Ensure delivery of programs on time, on budget, and at target quality Manage and mitigate program risk and capitalize on opportunities Forecast program spend and manage PMO budget Define and manage schedules, logistics, and review frequency Support the sales team with proposals and quotations; identify program growth opportunities Coordinate cross-discipline collaboration including engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and sales Make data-driven adjustments to maintain targeted margins Develop and publish global program performance metrics in coordination with product management Facilitate reviews to remove internal/external roadblocks; escalate issues for swift resolution Serve as the primary interface with customer program teams Participate in and lead internal and external business reviews

Required Qualifications

10+ years of experience managing complex, multi-functional product programs, with a demonstrated track record of delivering results on time, within budget, and to quality standards 5–7 years of leadership experience managing diverse, global teams in a matrixed organization Deep understanding of hardware and software product lifecycles 10+ years of experience in the mobile and wireless industry Proven experience with phase-gate product development processes, from concept through end-of-life Strong skills in program spend forecasting, budget oversight, and cost center management Demonstrated success working with and managing external vendors and strategic partners Effective in strategic planning, project management, risk mitigation, and change leadership Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including executive-level reporting Comfortable leading in a global matrix organization, including remote and virtual teams Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Certification in Program Management (e.g., PMP, PgMP)

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in a technical or scientific discipline Additional certifications in quality management or project leadership (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, Agile) Experience implementing Lean methodologies in a manufacturing or hardware production environment Prior experience as an operational advisor to executive leadership teams Background supporting sales teams with proposals, quotations, and growth initiatives Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional alignment across engineering, supply chain, sales, and quality teams Experience developing and publishing global program metrics in collaboration with product management Proven ability to remove systemic roadblocks and manage executive-level program escalations

Salary Range:

$188,633-$237,174
