Google's software engineers develop next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another. Our products handle information at massive scale and extend beyond web search. We seek engineers with fresh ideas from all areas, including information retrieval, distributed computing, large-scale system design, networking, data storage, security, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, UI design, and mobile development. Engineers will work on critical projects with opportunities to switch teams and projects as our business grows and evolves. We value versatility, leadership qualities, and enthusiasm for tackling new problems across the full technology stack. In this role, you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions. You will also drive the security aspects of Core Dev's Cloud Developer Platforms and general Cloud Adoption Architecture and Strategy. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $248,000-$349,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Salary is determined by role, level, location, skills, experience, and education. Create and execute roadmaps for risk remediation and prevention for Alphabet's use of Cloud. Build solutions for using and restricting Cloud Resources. Ensure platform integration with Cloud Governance Tools. Create friction for off-platform Cloud usage through Developer Platforms.
