The Food and Drug Branch (FDB) seeks a qualified candidate for the role of
Chief of the Food and Drug Unit , within the Investigations and Enforcement Unit (IEU). The Unit Chief is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating activities related to the drug and medical device program, including law enforcement and legal compliance. This position is designated as a peace officer per California Penal Code 830.3 (f) and (h), requiring proficiency with firearms, knowledge of use-of-force policies, and adherence to CA POST standards.
