Quality Technician II
role in
Burlington.
Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality products. With a focus on continuous improvement, they pride themselves on maintaining excellence at every stage of their manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities: • Perform in-depth quality inspections on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using calibrated tools and measurement systems. • Document inspection results, non-conformances, and corrective actions in accordance with company quality standards and procedures. • Support root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for quality issues. • Assist with calibration, maintenance, and verification of testing and inspection equipment. • Interpret engineering drawings, product specifications, and technical documentation to ensure compliance. • Monitor production processes and conduct audits to verify adherence to established procedures and regulatory standards. • Train and support production staff on quality standards and best practices. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in product quality and process efficiency. • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality policies (e.g., ISO, GMP, HACCP). • Escalate critical quality concerns to leadership and recommend improvement solutions.
Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certification in Quality, Manufacturing, or related field preferred. • 2+ years of experience in a quality assurance/quality control role, preferably in a manufacturing environment. • Proficient in the use of calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measurement tools. • Strong understanding of quality systems, documentation, and root cause analysis techniques. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and communication abilities. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data entry/reporting systems. • Ability to work independently and within a team, including on swing or rotating shifts.
