Position Summary
The Word Processor works in a team-oriented environment and is responsible for providing first-class legal administrative support to the firm, including attorneys, paralegals, secretaries and others. This individual must demonstrate sound judgement when handling work and communicating with others.
Primary Responsibilities Create, edit, and format documents using a variety of applications. Input and revise all MS Office Documents. Create master captions/Proofs of Service for new matters, and responsive shells as needed. OCR documents; convert, clean and format documents to/from different file formats. Create Tables of Contents and Tables of Authorities within existing legal documents, using appropriate formatting, coding, and related software. Have the ability to perform merge applications, macros and special command functions as well as a general knowledge of other software packages and applications including Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Pro. College course work/ or legal secretarial field or equivalent combination of experience/training in other non-related field is required Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Professional. Experience using Affinity, Litera, Best Authority, ALN Workflow and other legal related software. iManage Work (DeskSite) or other comparable document management system experience preferred. Ability to accomplish tasks quickly and thoroughly with a high degree of accuracy and to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work as a productive team member, contributing to the concept of continuous improvement of the department and its service offerings. Personal Attributes
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. Highly self-motivated, proactive, and detail oriented. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment. Flexible and willing to pitch in wherever needed; always reflects a "can do" attitude. Maintains an exceptional customer service attitude and demeanor at all times.

The hourly rate range for this position is $32.81 - 41.02. Actual base pay within this range will be determined by several components, including but not limited to, relevant experience, internal equity, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
