Senior Programmer Analyst

The Senior Programmer Analyst will join Boeing's Production Systems Design team within Engineering and Product Support, as the Technical Lead for Engineering Change Control.
In this role, you will lead technical delivery, shape the overall product design and architecture, and mentor a talented, global development team. The Engineering Change Control product offers a portfolio of applications that support requesting, planning, scheduling, and controlling all aspects of design engineering changes within process planning, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

Position Responsibilities:
Works with Product Managers to translate user stories into action items for Developers/Testers and to iteratively realize the product roadmap in sprints Creates skeleton code and assigns its elaboration to Developers/Testers Performs analysis of end user processes to define application requirements Guides team development efforts, identifying skills necessary for successful product delivery and providing technical leadership, mentorship, and support to development teams Manages code reviews, ensuring software quality, designing best practices, and aligning team practices with best practices Uses data to tactically streamline and improve the product development lifecycle through Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelining, Development, Security and Operations (DevSecOps), Infrastructure as Code and other automations as appropriate Oversees troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues, especially complex issues that span multiple teams Follows new technologies and industry trends, bringing useful technologies into the team to improve product development and quality Works with enterprise architecture and security personnel to position the product for long term maintainability and scalability, ensure adherence to Enterprise Architecture, and ensure regulatory/policy compliance Understands the big picture and the inter-relationships of all positions and activities in the system, including the impact of changes in one area on another area Understands the inter-relationships between components of systems and plans, anticipating future events, and applying the principles of systems thinking to accelerate performance Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience with DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automation tools 5+ years of experience with full software development life cycle and test-driven development 3+ years of experience with an Agile and/or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment 3+ years of experience with a diverse set of procedural and object-oriented programming languages such as C#, C++, VB.NET, Java and Python Experience with .NET 8, Entity Framework, and LINQ for Application Programming Interface (API) development Experience with application integration, migration and modernization Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience Experience with creating stored procedures, batch jobs, and database normalization Experience with Angular for User Interface (UI) design and development Experience with leading cross-functional teams supporting application development and sustaining activities Experience with Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports Experience with cloud technologies such as Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, or OpenShift Experience with micro-service-based architecture such as Docker, and Kubernetes Experience with developing web applications and web services in both Microsoft and Java tech stacks Experience with software design principles, including Single Responsibility Principle (SRP), Open/Closed Principle, and other SOLID principles, to drive maintainable and scalable architecture decisions Experience with reporting tools such as Tableau Experience with code analysis tools, like Coverity and SonarQube Experience with strong communication skills, along with expertise in analytical thinking and problem-solving Drug Free Workplace:
