EH&S Technician - II Location:
La Verne, CA 91750 Duration:
12 Months+ (Possibility of Extension)
Shift: Mon - Fri 8 am - 5 pm
(Subject to alteration by the dept leadership based on need) Pay Rate Range: $27.84/hr. on W2
Responsibilities: Conduct exposure assessments for airborne contaminants, noise, and other occupational hazards. Develop and implement monitoring strategies and sampling plans. Interpret industrial hygiene data and recommend appropriate engineering or administrative controls. Support risk assessments for new processes, equipment, and materials. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Manufacturing, Facilities, and EH&S. Maintain compliance with OSHA, NIOSH, ACGIH, and other applicable regulations and guidelines. Assist in the development and delivery of training programs related to industrial hygiene and occupational health. Maintain accurate records and prepare technical reports and documentation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or master's degree in industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health, Environmental Science, or related field. 3-5 years of relevant experience in industrial hygiene, preferably in the biopharma or life sciences industry. Working knowledge of
IH sampling equipment and analytical methods. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. CIH certification or progress toward certification is preferred.
