Job Summary:
We are seeking a
Web Developer
to manage web design, product content, SEO, and digital advertising efforts. You'll play a critical role in enhancing our website, product descriptions, metadata, and images. Working closely with eCommerce, IT, product management, and marketing teams, you'll ensure our digital presence aligns with customer needs and business goals.

Compensation:
$70k to $80k annual salary range based on experience

Key Responsibilities:
Web Development Create, edit, and troubleshoot web page layouts and components using HTML and CSS. Ensure product and promotional content is properly structured and styled across web templates. Collaborate with developers and designers to implement responsive and mobile-friendly content updates. Assist in landing page creation, UX optimization, and content formatting within Shopify and CMS environments. Conduct regular QA testing to ensure web content displays correctly across browsers and devices. Product Content & SEO
Optimize product content for clarity, engagement, and SEO performance. Write compelling, keyword-rich product descriptions and metadata to improve search rankings. Enhance product images using Adobe Photoshop for a high-quality visual experience. Implement technical SEO strategies, including site speed optimization, mobile-friendliness, and crawl error resolution. Manage and improve local SEO efforts, including Google My Business profiles and local citations. Stay up to date with search engine algorithm changes and SEO trends to maintain best practices. (Re)define product hierarchy and taxonomy to improve site navigation, search relevance, and user experience. Define and manage product attributes across the catalog, including selecting which attributes are used as filters/facets and determining their display order on category pages. Experience working with a Product Information Management (PIM) system is a plus. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Work
Work closely with eCommerce, IT, product management, and marketing teams to align digital strategies. Assist in product taxonomy improvements for better navigation and user experience. Participate in sales ride-alongs to gain insights into customer needs and market trends. Effectively manage multiple campaigns and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications & Skills:
1-3 years of experience in product content management, SEO, and digital advertising for an eCommerce or industrial/automotive distribution business. Bootcamp graduates are welcome to apply. Strong technical knowledge in website structure, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and server configurations. Bachelor's degree in information technology, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Experience with Google Analytics, SEMrush, and other SEO tools. Ability to diagnose and resolve technical SEO issues such as crawl errors and site speed optimization. Excellent writing skills with an ability to craft engaging, SEO-optimized content. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop for image editing and enhancement. Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills. Exceptional multitasking abilities and a shared sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Google Ads and SEO certifications are a plus.
