You'll work closely with IT, R&D, DevSecOps, and compliance teams to deploy security tools, monitor threats, respond to incidents, and ensure our systems remain secure and compliant. Key Responsibilities: Security Infrastructure:

Deploy and manage security tools and controls across cloud and on-premise environments. Incident Response:

Monitor security events, detect incidents, and lead response efforts to minimize impact. Perform root cause analysis and drive remediation. Threat Intelligence:

Analyze emerging threats and vulnerabilities, provide actionable intelligence, and adapt security strategies accordingly. Security Automation:

Develop scripts and automation tools to streamline security operations, monitoring, and reporting. Compliance:

Partner with GRC to ensure compliance with standards like SOC 2 and ISO 27001; support audit activities. Documentation:

Maintain clear, comprehensive documentation for security processes, incident responses, and configuration standards. Factors for Success: You must have 5+ years of experience in security engineering, information security, or a related role. You must have hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and security tools such as SIEMs, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, CSPM, DLP, and EDR. You should be skilled in scripting or programming (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) to automate security operations. You should be analytical, detail-oriented, and an excellent communicator who thrives in a collaborative environment. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field-or equivalent practical experience-is required. Familiarity with NIST frameworks (CSF, RMF, AI, 800-53) and relevant certifications (CISSP, CEH, OSCP, Security+) are a plus. Why Work at Zywave?
