We're looking for an experienced
Project Manager (Architect/Engineer)
to lead design and construction projects for the
United States Postal Service's (USPS) Facilities Design & Construction organization . This is your chance to make a meaningful impact by improving USPS facilities across the nation!

What You'll Do
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and deliver design and construction projects on time and within budget. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and USPS teams to ensure successful project outcomes. Provide technical guidance to team members and contractors. Establish project timelines, assign tasks, and monitor progress. Technical Functions:
Analyze construction challenges and recommend effective solutions. Perform feasibility studies, cost analyses, and technical evaluations for facility improvements. Prepare detailed engineering proposals, including alternatives for facility and system upgrades. Draft and review requests for proposals (RFPs), ensuring accuracy and compliance. Conduct on-site inspections and participate in project meetings to ensure adherence to requirements. What You Bring to the Role
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical), or Construction Management. Engineering programs must be
ABET-accredited . Experience:
3-7 years of experience managing commercial building design/architecture or construction management projects. Preference for experience in major commercial onstruction projects. Skills and Requirements:
Proficiency with
MS Project
or other related project management software Proficiency with
MS Office Suite
(Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Proficiency with virtual conference call technologies (zoom, MS Teams, etc.). Flexibility to travel and adapt working hours as needed. Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test. Eligible to obtain a
