DELIVERY DRIVER
The Deliver Driver transports food for restaurants in a timely manner, ensuring guest satisfaction with guest service skills. They are careful to prevent spills or damage to food during delivery, and that it is fresh; held to proper temperatures for the guest.
Delivery Driver Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties as assigned • Perform duties including pre-delivery vehicle, equipment, and food preparation, learning the delivery area, checking orders for quality and accuracy. • Loads and unloads food in the provided or personal vehicle with safety-based, service-oriented accuracy and on-time delivery, acting with a sense of urgency. • Providing quality guest service through positive and professional interaction with guests in person or by phone. • When not on a delivery, perform basic takeout duties, additional side work and cleaning duties at the restaurant as needed. • Accurately process order paperwork and payment transactions, execute cash management duties; handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring accurate charges, returning correct change to patrons. • Is responsible for checking trucks for all equipment and notifies manager of any damage or problems with vehicles. Puts gas in the vehicle when necessary. • Follows traffic laws in the State of Ohio at all times. • Maintains or exceeds standards of personal appearance, grooming, cleanliness, and hygiene. This includes wearing proper uniform at all times while working. • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Delivery Driver Qualifications and Skills:
The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Regularly stand and walk for eight to ten hours; climb sets of stairs repetitively throughout shift; occasionally required to sit, bend, kneel, crouch or crawl. • Consistently reach shoulder level, above head, below waist; push, pull, lift and carry twenty-five (25) pounds including up flights of stairs, occasionally lift excess of fifty (50) pounds. • Must be able to work in environmental exposure to low or high volume noise, cold, heat, water, and cleaning materials. • Passible understanding of English Language, writing skills and basic mathematics. • Valid driver's license to the state of Ohio, clean driving record and able to be insured.
