JOB SUMMARY: Manage and control inventory accuracy using QAD

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Make adjustments to inventory as needed to clean up the lines (Formula, foil, boxes, labels) also move pallets to the correct locations and make sure they have been work centered on both the lines and the room. Organize, prepare and oversee inventories in Packaging and Production areas. Load, unload, count, weigh, issue and return to stock materials or finished goods. OTHER DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Ability to do receipt to work order, print work orders, issue to work orders, and work order correction Verify cases produced listed on the work orders matches what is back flushed Zero out minimal balances in all locations Operate powered fork trucks to perform material handling duties. Take cycle counts on required products Review schedule for errors in the BOMs and inform Controller of any to control inventory problems Review label requirements and assist with label printing if necessary to keep ahead of production. Work in QAD to make labels active in system. Keep close contact with supplier of corrugated concerning any problems that arise in corrugated received Assist in organizing and maintaining efficiency in the warehouse Reorganize available racking and floor space for new products Investigate new foil and send sample to QC and purchasing for their review. Complete all reports and checklist for Month End Closing Complete waste reports Stack, tier, transport for storage materials or finished goods. Keep QAD system up to date and accurate each day Scanner unit trouble shooting Works with QA to add/remove hold product. Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including calculations involving fractions, decimals, percentages. Ability to carry out written, verbal or diagrammatic instructions. Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions, write identifying information, record information on forms. Ability to perform heavy physical work doing such activities as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, and grasping. Ability to operate forklift and other powered equipment for material handling. Ability to work in Excel and update existing files.
