Senior Solutions Programmer Analyst

The College and Graduate School of Arts & Sciences seeks a Senior Solutions Programmer Analyst to lead efforts that enhance the undergraduate student experience through innovative technology and data solutions. This position will report to the Director of Information Technology and will primarily support programming and integration needs in the Office of Undergraduate Education. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker, collaborative partner, and proactive problem solver with a passion for improving student outcomes through modern platforms and data-informed decision making. The successful candidate will bring expertise in technical solution development, cross-functional project management, and user-centered design to support mission-critical student services initiatives. This is a remote-eligible position with preference for a hybrid work schedule. The initial appointment is for one year, with potential for renewal based on performance and organizational need. This position will not sponsor visas now or in the future. Responsibilities

User Experience Analysis and Solution Design Lead discovery and analysis efforts to identify pain points and opportunities in the student experience. Design and implement technology and process solutions using secure, governed platforms. Collaborate with University IT and academic leadership to advocate for solutions aligned with College goals. Technical Development and Integration Develop and maintain integrations using Boomi to connect systems of record and student-facing platforms. Build and manage applications and workflows in Airtable to support student services operations. Create custom solutions and automations to enhance the student experience. Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and data standards in collaboration with central and Arts & Sciences IT teams. Project Management and Implementation Manage product roadmaps, track project progress, and lead stakeholder communication. Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure successful deployment and adoption of new tools. Monitor and evaluate solution effectiveness and recommend continuous improvements. Cross-Functional Collaboration Serve as a liaison between IT, Undergraduate Affairs, and other academic units. Facilitate workshops, focus groups, and feedback sessions with students and staff. Document processes, cross-train colleagues, and share best practices across the Arts & Sciences community. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in information systems, education, or a related field. Demonstrated experience in business analysis, solution design, and implementation in a complex organization. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Proven ability to translate user needs into actionable technical and process improvements. Experience developing secure and resilient integrations, web applications, and workflows. Proficiency in deploying custom technical solutions using modern platforms and APIs. Familiarity with ERP and CRM platforms, as well as data visualization tools. Experience managing cross-functional projects and working in matrixed reporting environments. Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in education, data analytics, or a related discipline. Experience working in higher education or with student services units. Familiarity with platforms such as PeopleSoft, Stellic, Slate, or similar student engagement tools. Knowledge of user-centered design principles and accessibility standards. Experience working directly with undergraduate student services or academic advising. Understanding of data governance and privacy practices in academic settings. This is primarily a sedentary role involving extensive use of computers. The job occasionally requires moving light objects. Anticipated hiring range: $100,000-$130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
