JOB SUMMARY: The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for maintaining and growing Goodwill Central Oklahomas online presence through engaging content creation and community interaction under the direction of the Director of Marketing & Creative Services. This role plays a key part in telling our story and showcasing our mission. This role should help strengthen the digital brand of Goodwill Central Oklahoma, a non-profit organization with a strong retail and shopping component. The ideal candidate is a creative, organized, and strong communicator who understands digital trends, is fluent in platform best practices, and is passionate about using social media to connect communities with meaningful work and mission, while supporting the strategies and initiatives of the Goodwill Central Oklahoma Marketing team. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: * Social Media Engagement & Marketing

Create, schedule, and publish platform-specific content across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Threads, and other emerging platforms.

Maintain a consistent posting calendar that supports organizational priorities, Goodwill International (GII) priorities and content, seasonal initiatives, and campaign goals as directed. Support efforts to optimize content for reach and engagement using current algorithm and platform insights. * Content Creation

Plan, shoot, and edit original, mobile-first video content (e.g., Reels, YouTube Shorts, and behind-the-scenes storytelling) based on overall goals and objectives of the organization, specifically focusing on retail operations, with provided equipment.

Design visual and written content as needed using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite. Collaborate with the marketing team and internal departments to translate organizational programs and success stories into digestible, consistent, audience-friendly content. Draft digital marketing copy and social media copy as needed, including captions, blog posts, or emails. * Community Engagement and User-Generated Content Maintain relationships with followers, donors, shoppers, job seekers, and partner organizations through digital engagement. (e.g., Tagging our non-profit partners, donors, responding to messages, comments, and tags, etc.) Coordinate partnerships and content creation with local creators, thrifters, advocates, and Impactors (influencers), including coordinating proposals, payments, and reporting these updates to the Director of Marketing & Creative Services. Work with the Director of Marketing & Creative Services to coordinate the purchase or usage of user generated content for a variety of marketing initiatives. * Digital Brand Management Ensure that all digital content reflects the Goodwill Central Oklahoma brand voice, values, and mission.

* Stay up-to-date on digital trends, platform updates, and best practices to keep Goodwill Central Oklahomas social media presence fresh and relevant to shoppers and thrifters. QUALIFICATIONS: *

Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience in social media management or digital marketing.

Excellent and proven writing abilities. Strong organizational skills. Able to maintain multiple projects and prioritize tasks. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products. Experience with monitoring platforms like Meltwater or Hootsuite strongly preferred. Experience with graphic design and/or Adobe Creative Suite or Canva preferred. Experience working in project management platforms like Monday.com, Asana, or Planner is a plus. Experience in retail or non-profit sector is a plus. Experience with photography and video editing preferred. Valid Oklahoma Drivers License and Car Insurance Verification, required. Must maintain a good driving record and pass MVR check.

* Strong time management skills and demonstrate adherence to timelines and schedules. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This work is sedentary and requires the following physical activities: *

Sitting for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity.

Ability to lift 35 pounds, or more with assistance.

* Some work sites require long periods of walking and standing. WORKING CONDITIONS: *

Work in a climate-controlled atmosphere majority of the time.

Requires some local travel between Goodwill Central Oklahoma retail locations providing own transportation.
