Introduction Our client seeks a highly skilled
Senior Enterprise Application Architect
to lead the design, development, and implementation of an Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud System (EPBCS). This role is critical in enhancing budget planning alignment, streamlining operational work plans, improving forecasting capabilities, and enabling greater transparency and collaboration across the organization. The selected candidate will serve as both a strategic architect and a hands-on technical leader.
Key Responsibilities Lead the overall application and data flow architecture design for cloud-based enterprise budgeting and planning systems. Author design documentation, implementation plans, and scalable solution architectures. Direct and facilitate Planning design sessions, ensuring solution integrity across all applications. Serve as lead developer during the build phase, including quality assurance of other developers' work. Implement and manage Oracle Hyperion Cloud applications (Financial, Workforce, Projects & Capital). Develop and maintain Hyperion cubes, calculations, formulas, load rules, and automation scripts. Ensure smooth operation of monthly planning and forecasting processes, including troubleshooting and enhancements. Maintain compliance with SOX requirements and ensure accurate data flows between Hyperion and integrated applications. Build and optimize SmartView ad-hoc reports, Hyperion Financial Reporting, and dashboards. Implement advanced business process management techniques to solve complex finance and operational challenges. Create, document, and maintain API integrations using SOAP, REST, JSON, and other standards. Qualifications
10+ years
of technical experience in Hyperion technologies (Cloud or On-Premise). Proven track record of multiple Hyperion Planning and Essbase project implementations. Strong expertise in Oracle Hyperion, EPM Cloud, EPBCS, and Narrative Reporting. Experience in enterprise application architecture and development. Advanced skills in performance tuning, system monitoring, and debugging Hyperion applications. Familiarity with HFM consolidation rules, data forms, reports, and journals. Demonstrated ability to improve processes through automation and centralized controls. Strong communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders at all levels. Candidate must reside in the United States.
