MINIMUM 1 YEAR OF METAL FINISHING OR SANDBLASTING EXPERIENCEConnect Staffing is seeking an experienced Metal Finisher/Sandblaster for a faucet manufacturing facility in Huntington Beach, CA.Schedule: Monday, Friday, 2 PM-11:15 PM. Ability to work overtime as needed.Requirements for the Metal Finisher/Sandblaster: 1 year of recent Finishing and/or Sandblasting experience requiredMust be able to speak English or be Bilingual Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.Must have attention to detail, accuracy, dependability, and persistence.Must be comfortable with working in an environment exposed to heat, cold, dust, and moderate noise.Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Must pass a background, drug screen, and E-Verify Prior experience in roles such as Sander, Polisher, Finisher, Metal Finisher, Metal Polisher, and Sandblaster Operator is a big plus! Benefits of the Metal Finisher/Sandblaster: Health and dental benefits are availableCal Savers retirement program is available Earn referral bonusesResponsibilities of the Metal Finisher/Sandblaster:Sandblasting with the use of high-pressure air equipment to clean and prepare surfaces such as brass or other types of metals.When sandblasting, manually direct the nozzle over the surface of large parts or insert arms through glove-fitted cabinet openings and manipulate small parts under the nozzle for a specified interval.Metal polishers and stainers use polishing lathe machines on metal surfaces to correct defects, smooth, satin, and prepare surfaces and polish materials. Racking or wiring of parts, dipping parts in chemical baths and rinse tanks, drying parts with forced air, and cleaning or waxing the finished product to obtain the desired results.Peeling, or unwrapping parts in preparation for further finishing, is a simple process that is required before orders can be processed.Metal plating and living finish application utilizing various chemical solutions to achieve a desired color or finish.All candidates meeting the minimum requirements will receive an SMS invite to an AI-based interview.
