Description
The Sterling Heights Parks & Recreation Department is seeking applicants for seasonal, part-time Facility Site Coordinators at the Ice Rink. Available shifts are morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend hours. This position will be responsible for supervision of the Dodge Park Ice Rink inside of Dodge Park. Operating season is December through February. Hourly rate is $18.50, based on experience and completion of training. Position reports directly to Recreation Superintendent during the ice skating season.
Position Responsibilities Providing customer service to all patrons Providing supervision/direction to ice rink attendants Performing daily inspections of the ice rink with regard to safety & cleanliness Enforcing ice rink rules Directing ice rink events and maintenance of ice during operations Assisting in pre-season startup and post-season shutdown activities Minimum Qualifications
Ability to skate is required Zamboni experience is preferred, but training will be provided Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license Must pass a background check and First Aid/CPR training
