Job Description:
Key Responsibilities: Veterinary Diagnostics & System Design: • rchitect scalable solutions for veterinary diagnostic systems, integrating chemistry, hematology, and pathology analyzers with cloud platforms. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including OEM partners, QA, and System Analysts to ensure end-to-end interoperability and performance. • Translate complex business requirements into detailed architectural designs and system workflows. Cloud Integration & Application Architecture: • Lead the design and implementation of RESTful APIs and microservices using .NET Core, C#, and Entity Framework Core. • rchitect hybrid solutions involving Azure services such as App Services, Logic Apps, Function Apps, and Virtual Machines. • Configure Azure API Management for secure, policy-based access to backend services and device interfaces. Security, DevOps, and Automation: • Implement Azure security frameworks using Identity Management, Key Vault, and RBAC controls to secure APIs and cloud assets. • Drive CI/CD automation pipelines with Azure DevOps, including build, test, and deployment processes across environments. • Ensure performance and unit testing coverage using xUnit, MSTest, and related frameworks. Data Integration & Messaging Pipelines: • Develop and optimize data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Event Grid to manage diagnostic data from edge to cloud. • Utilize Azure messaging platforms including Service Bus, Event Hub, and IoT Hub for real-time telemetry and alerting. • Support on-prem to cloud migration strategies including Rehost, Refactor, and Rearchitect methods for legacy diagnostic systems. Cross-Domain Collaboration & Quality Assurance: • Partner with System Analysts and QA Engineers to validate design assumptions through risk analysis, and test strategy alignment. • Oversee solution quality through design/code reviews, defect triaging, and architectural governance. • Maintain traceability of architecture decisions to business objectives, compliance requirements (e.g., ISO 13485, GDPR), and system KPIs.
Required Skills and Qualifications: • Bachelor's or Master's in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. • 8-10 years of experience in solution architecture, including medical or veterinary diagnostic systems. • Deep hands-on experience in .NET Core, C#, RESTful APIs, and Azure Cloud Services. • Knowledge of diagnostic device integration protocols (HL7, ASTM, POCT1-A, RS232, TCP/IP). • Experience with Azure API Management, Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS), and container registries. • Solid understanding of front-end architecture principles, preferably with React-based interfaces. • Experience with regulatory frameworks and standards applicable to diagnostics and healthcare IT.
Preferred: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect / Azure DevOps Engineer Experience in animal health or veterinary diagnostics domain. Exposure to firmware/software lifecycle management for OEM diagnostic devices
