Computer Scientist II or III - Relocation Available

JT4 is hiring a Software Engineer II-III or Computer Scientist II-III for their Las Vegas, NV location. JOB SUMMARY - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / DUTIES The Software Engineer will work primarily within research and development engineering groups with responsibility for a wide variety of tasks. The primary tasking will be the design and integration of software across multiple platforms, providing system instrumentation, radar control, data collection, and application development. Candidates should work well in both theoretical and practical domains to create innovative solutions for software challenges. Responsibilities include: Design and develop software for electronic and mechanical systems Perform tasks related to research, design, development, testing, installation, and maintenance Work independently within project deadlines REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE Candidates with backgrounds in software, computer engineering, or computer science are considered. The position may be filled at different levels: Engineer III : Bachelor's degree in engineering with 4 years of experience, or Master's with 2 years, or PhD in engineering Must possess engineering mastery, knowledge of latest developments, troubleshooting skills, and communication skills Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance; US citizen required Engineer II : Bachelor's degree in engineering with 2 years of experience, or Master's degree Knowledge of engineering concepts, test methods, and computer-based tools Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance; US citizen required Computer Scientist III : Bachelor's degree with 4 years of experience, or Master's with 2 years, or PhD in an associated discipline Experience with computer systems, programming, systems engineering, and lifecycle management Effective communication skills; US citizen required Computer Scientist II : Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience, or Master's degree Experience with computer systems, programming, and lifecycle management Effective communication skills; US citizen required SALARY Range: $80,000 to $135,000 annually. Salary depends on experience, education, skills, and market considerations.
