JOB SUMMARY:

The live receiving lead is responsible for overseeing the live receiving area as well as helping to keep the department flowing efficiently while maintaining quality to a high standard

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Other duties may be assigned. • Department setup and tear down • Ensure department needs are met during shift • Communicate well with team members and ensure that their needs are met • Monitor equipment performance and ensure KPI's are being met • Monitor quality and food safety standards are being met • Maintain department efficiencies • Make decisions about day-to-day operations.

Be on the floor to help monitor operational processes meaning; you are responsible for your area. Assist in the training of new team members; ensure they follow proper safety and food safety procedures. Ensure consistent product/quality flow is always maintained. If the line is down, contact maintenance or electronics immediately; thereafter, inform your supervisor. Review and complete production schedules to meet customer orders/needs. Complete daily cadence; daily numbers, labor, etc. (review with your team daily). Submit work orders and communicate with maintenance, electronics, and your supervisor any and all concerns. Ensure the right product, is in the right order. Drive and participate in continuous improvement activities (for example. Identify, communicate, and assist in identifying and resolving process deviations and other process related issues) Facilitate daily stretching activities and team member huddle meetings Assist in the co-ordination of work assignments, supply ordering and documentation or computer data entry needed for overall department performance trends. Perform physical tasks as needed; and ensure the entire team are following good manufacturing practices Ensure all PPE is being worn at all times, perform boot checks, etc. Perform Weekly Safety Observations and Weekly Departmental Safety Audits Keep track of all downtime and team member trainings etc. Maintain good housekeeping standards

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support supervisor in communicating Company's vision, policies, and procedures to team members. Monitor team member job performance and communicate expectations to team member and keep supervisor informed of each team member's job performance.
