Location: This consultant will visit the Hunter Douglas plant in Salt Lake City) for go live and hypercare support
Remote work with onsite go live and hyper care estimated at 3-4 weeks. I would plan for 25% travel for our consultants
Target Start Date: Immediately
Duration: 12-month contract with extensions
SAP ME/MII Consultant US This consultant will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automation solutions on the shop floor using SAP MII (Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence) and related technologies. This role bridges the gap between IT and OT (Operational Technology), ensuring seamless data flow and system integration to improve manufacturing performance and traceability 3+ years of experience in manufacturing systems integration or automation engineering. Hands-on experience with SAP MII, including development using iViews, BLS (Business Logic Services), and SAP UI5/Fiori. Experience with SAP ME (Manufacturing Execution), SAP PCo (Plant Connectivity), or similar MES platforms. Experience with Kepware for data connectivity and interfacing between OT and IT systems. Familiarity with shopfloor communication protocols (OPC, MQTT, Modbus, etc.). Experience working with PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley), SCADA systems, or HMI. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and MES/ERP integration. Proficient in SQL, JavaScript, XML, and web technologies.
