Cloud Architect - Advanced Development & Planning Engineer
to be part of its team in its North American operations.
Description: Responsibilities
s a Cloud Architect, you will design, manage, and oversee ADP's research projects on connected vehicles. You will architect and deploy cloud components specifically tailored to project needs that most often involves dynamic and large quantities of data with cost and performance in mind. Finally, you will maintain our cloud infrastructure to comply with the latest cybersecurity standards. Responsibilities and required qualifications are as follows:
Design, implement, and deploy cloud system to handle dynamic data coming from vehicles. Incorporate storage solutions that can handle different types of data (text, images, etc) Build test cases to automatically evaluate performance metrics Stay up to date on the state-of-the-art in cloud ideas, components, and software, in collaboration with our researchers. Coding, proof-of-concept (POC) and demo applications with our test vehicle platform. Work in a multidisciplinary team and collaborate with other teams across the research lab.
Requirements:
This position will be working directly onsite at the Mountain View California office therefore candidates must be local
Qualifications
Master's Degree in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering, Math, or related field. Masters with at least 1-2 years of experience; Cloud development experience in production settings. Strong AWS knowledge Strong cloud architecture knowledge and experience Experience on dealing with large quantities of dynamic dat Experience with image dat Proficiency in Python and Linux. Experience with CI/CD tools Experience with containers Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Plus) Experience with IoT systems, messaging protocols. and architectures
