This is a part-time position that consists of 1-2 shifts per week. As an Inventory Control Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our store remains well-stocked and organized. You will be responsible for receiving and putting away freight, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting overall store operations. Your efforts will help us provide an outstanding shopping experience for our customers. Key Responsibilities: Receive and Inspect Freight: Unload incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect for damages or discrepancies. Organize and Stock Merchandise: Efficiently put away freight in the correct locations, ensuring items are easily accessible and well-organized. Maintain Inventory Accuracy: Update inventory records, conduct regular cycle counts, and report any discrepancies to management. Support Store Operations: Assist with restocking shelves, setting up displays, and performing general housekeeping tasks to keep the store clean and orderly. Customer Assistance: Provide exceptional customer service by helping customers locate products and answering questions about inventory. Qualifications: Experience: Previous experience in freight/inventory management, warehouse operations, or a related field is preferred. Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks. Technical Skills: Basic computer skills for updating inventory records and familiarity with inventory management software is a plus. Team Player: Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
