Responsible for managing, maintenance, configuration, installation, upgrading, operations, and documentation of all assigned Windows and/or Linux Servers and server resources, Windows End-User Devices (Desktops, Laptops, and Tablets), and Virtual Machines (Servers, VMWare ESXi VMs).
Specific duties may include:
Deploy, modify, maintain, and troubleshoot end-user and computer rights and permissions.
Install, upgrade, and optimize system components, software, and upgrades in compliance with Cyber Security and Digital, Information Technology, Analysis, Cyber (DITAC) Operation and Maintenance (O&M) requirements.
Replace faulty system hardware components when necessary. Work closely with the users of DITAC networks to identify potential issues and resolve existing problems.
Develop, perform, maintain, test, and document regular backup operations. Implement processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
Develop, modify, test, and implement disaster recovery operations.
Analyze and monitor system capacity and performance; perform routine maintenance. Identify and remediate system performance issues.
Efficiently troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues. Document issues and resolutions, prioritize tasks, and assess impact and root cause.
Develop, update, and maintain DITAC's Lifecycle and O&M documentation, including operating procedures, processes, and technical walkthroughs.
Coordinate with ISSOs to ensure compliance with DITAC's ATO and ConMon requirements. Perform and document security vulnerability scans, patching, hardening, and mitigation efforts in accordance with Cyber Security standards (DISA STIGs, ACAS scans, etc.).
Systems Administrator II (Finance)
Job Summary:

Ensure system compliance with security standards and perform vulnerability management activities.
Required Experience/Knowledge:
Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems.
Effective communication skills for end-users and leadership.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Analytical and verbal/written communication skills.
Ability to work in a team environment, including remote and geographically dispersed teams.
Certifications per DoD 8570/8140 (e.g., Security Plus).
Desired Experience/Knowledge:
Experience with Red Hat Linux.
Skills in scripting, automation tools, and group policy (PowerShell, Tanium, HBSS, etc.).
Knowledge of Active Directory and security frameworks like Risk Management Framework and STIGs.
