As a

Global Sourcing Specialist , you will execute our comprehensive Strategic Sourcing Plan with a focus on product sourcing and supplier management/development. Youll support our business products portfolio, emphasizing OEM suppliers and a global supply base. This role requires strategic thinking, adaptability, and understanding of international trade complexities. In This Role, You Will Develop sourcing strategies for key product categories to ensure cost savings, strategic alignment, and tariff mitigation. Manage relationships with approximately 45 suppliers across Asia and Europe. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Engineering, Product, QA, Finance, Logistics, Customer Service, Sales, and Marketing to meet profitability goals. Implement tariff mitigation strategies and navigate international trade legislation. Drive continuous cost reductions and process improvements. Support New Product Development (NPD) and Continuous Product Development (CPD) processes with Engineering teams. Oversee OEM supplier development activities to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-efficiency. Address cost changes, scrap issues, and supplier pushback, collaborating with internal teams and updating documentation as needed. Ensure timely delivery and quality standards for purchase orders. Stay informed on global trade dynamics to inform supplier decisions and supply chain strategies. What You Bring To The Team: Minimum 3 years in global sourcing, purchasing, or supply chain management. Experience with OEM supplier management in Asia and Europe; consumer packed goods experience is a plus. Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field. APICS or CPM certification preferred. Understanding of ECOs and experience working with engineering teams is a plus. Ability to manage global supply chain complexities. Strong negotiation and relationship management skills. Excellent collaboration and communication skills. Ability to manage high-pressure situations and make critical decisions related to sourcing, costs, and supplier performance.
