Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Travel Cath Lab Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated professional committed to providing high-quality care in our cardiovascular lab environment. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform catheterizations and other interventional procedures. - Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring they are comfortable and informed. - Maintain and operate cath lab equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. - Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals during procedures. - Monitor patients' vital signs and condition during and after procedures. - Maintain accurate records and documentation as required.
Requirements:
- Must hold a valid BLS certification. - ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology is required. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting. - Permanent address must be located more than 50 miles from the facility. - Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage stressful situations effectively.
Additional Information:
- No need to float to other units. - The facility is equipped with [insert number of beds/private patient areas known]. - Candidates will not be considered if they do not meet all requirements outlined above.
