Sr. Supply Chain Manager

The Sr. Supply Chain Manager will oversee and direct the day-to-day activities of supply chain, logistics, production operations and product development projects ensuring efficient flow of goods and services from suppliers to customers and the introduction of new products. This includes driving strategy and executing operations for procurement, logistics, inventory and product management, production planning and optimization of the entire supply chain process as well as driving product development initiatives and roll-out.

Position Responsibilities

Supply Chain Management & Production Support

Manage a robust supply chain, purchasing and cost reduction goals, including strategic sourcing, supply chain risk management, and oversee efforts to scale supply chain operations to support multiple co-manufacturing partners. Manage the receipt of timely and accurate BOMs from comanufacturers, work with manufacturers to create a process for BOMs, and determine monthly or quarterly yields to evaluate co-man effectiveness based on supply chain metrics. Own demand planning and coordinate raw material order sizes and delivery schedules in alignment with forecasting and projected production plans. Own and lead SAP management of raw material inventory and usage, finished goods production and fulfillment data to ensure accuracy and synergy across the supply chain. Lead production planning for outside co-manufacturers to meet demand. Optimize SKUs at each location ensuring efficient logistics / distribution for customers. Monitor co-man production volumes, including daily tracking, and consistent supply of finished goods. Manage raw material, packaging, and sundry sourcing and purchasing in compliance with food safety and quality assurance standards. Ensure inventory levels are optimized to meet customer demand while minimizing holding costs and potential stockouts. Manage supplier, including scorecards, code of conduct, product standards, and other record management. Build and maintain meaningful relationships with all suppliers. Support GMPs and protocols for raw material management, and finished goods, ensuring compliance with food safety and quality assurance standards. Maintain raw material catalogue, and establish 2nd and 3rd tier suppliers. Negotiate costs and contracts with suppliers to ensure we are receiving optimal pricing. Develop and implement KPIs and tracking for Supply Chain & Logistics. Support the year-end process of creating an Annual Operating Plan. Logistics Management

Lead inventory/logistics department staff, and day-to-day operations in managing and maintaining an accurate inventory of raw materials and finished goods across multiple warehouses, maintaining 3PL and warehouse vendor relationships, and ensuring orders are shipped on time, accurately, and in full. Oversee logistics including the planning and execution of transportation routes, selection of logistics providers, tracking shipments, and scaling operations to keep pace with company growth. Lead cost optimization of freight, including distribution consolidation, streamlining operations, and strategic vendor management. Oversee day-to-day issue resolution for fulfillment operations, prioritizing problems, and working quickly to develop effective solutions. Oversee inventory accuracy in warehouse management systems and ensure the integrity of data flow throughout the inventory management and fulfillment process. Support the implementation and launch of new third-party logistics providers, warehousing, or fulfillment center locations, ensuring smooth transitions and operational readiness. Product Development

Lead new product development process and product improvements from conceptualization to scale up, often utilizing outside consultants and other company team members to deliver new or improved products to the market. Lead and direct internal staff or outside consultants used for product development or similar work. Lead product development initiatives and coordinate as required with business development, and external consultants to successfully launch, on time, new SKUs that meet consumer needs as well as food safety, regulatory, and certification standards. Other duties as assigned and required in order to reach company goals. Qualifications

At least 8+ years experience working in food supply chain, production and/or logistics Solid experience in SAP management required. Minimum of 4 years of experience directly managing a supply chain or logistics team. Experience with novel product development. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external contacts (co-packers, 3PL's). Proven ability to develop strategic plans and manage implementation and execution, along with an ability to analyze data and identify root causes. Experience in or knowledge of food industry regulatory and compliance requirements is highly desired. A high level of integrity and personal accountability are essential to this position. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Flexible and willing to take on any tasks to support team efforts. "Get to a yes" mentality required, and demonstrated by identifying outside-of-the-box solutions to organizational challenges and ability to move quickly. Strong project management skills. Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks as needed. Must operate with a sense of urgency and attention to detail. Capable of making decisions independently and exercising excellent judgment.

Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods of time, stoop, kneel, and reach regularly. Ability to lift, push, pull up to 35 pounds. Ability to travel by all means of transportation.

Location: This is a fully in-person position, located in Tukwila. Frequent travel to co-manufacturing sites in and out of state will be required.

Salary & Benefits: The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000 depending on experience. Medical, dental, vision, and supplemental benefits. Paid time off and company holidays.
