About the Role: The Office of Cybersecurity (OCS) at SCDHHS seeks a seasoned
RSA Archer Administrator
to lead the design, configuration, customization, and deployment of the RSA Archer platform. This role involves utilizing Archer's out-of-the-box and custom use cases to align with state and federal compliance mandates, including FISMA and NIST standards.
Scope of the Project: SCDHHS is the state Medicaid Agency, responsible for developing and maintaining robust Information Security Plans and artifacts to meet compliance with Federal, State, and Agency mandates. The Archer Administrator will play a critical role in implementing RSA Archer solutions to support this mandate.
Daily Duties & Responsibilities:
Customize RSA Archer applications based on stakeholder business requirements. Collaborate with business teams to assess customization needs versus out-of-the-box functionality. Develop, test, and deploy RSA Archer solutions across dev, test, and production using RSA packaging. Administer the RSA Archer platform daily, including user provisioning, workflows, and reporting. Configure dashboards, iViews, advanced workflows, data feeds, and calculations. Integrate data sources and external feeds into the Archer platform. Lead design and delivery of On-Demand Applications. Handle problem resolution and support ticket management for Archer issues. Advise stakeholders on Archer use case optimization and implementation best practices. Manage Archer LDAP integration with Active Directory.
Essential Responsibilities:
Collaborating with stakeholders to apply process/functional requirements to Archer app design. Designing and developing reporting dashboards and iViews. Integrating external data feeds into Archer. Configuring and/or customizing RSA Archer 6.x. Implementing Archer out-of-the-box and designing custom use cases. Troubleshooting application calculations and cross-references. Providing technical administration of the RSA Archer platform. Managing user accounts, data feeds, workflows, and access permissions. Offering development/configuration support based on technical specs. Managing issue resolution and technical requests. Provisioning Archer user accounts and roles. Managing Archer LDAP integration with Active Directory.
Required Skills:
5+ years in RSA Archer solution design, development, and deployment. 5+ years of full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) experience. Experience supporting production RSA Archer in multi-environment configurations. Strong experience with Advanced Workflows, Data Feeds, Dashboards, Reports, and iViews. Ability to translate business requirements into Archer use cases. Self-discipline and ability to work independently with minimal oversight. Working knowledge of FISMA, NIST, security, and privacy compliance standards.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of Healthcare and HIPAA compliance standards. 5+ years in information security, risk management, or compliance. Understanding of regulatory compliance reporting methodologies. Project management skills (a strong plus).
Education & Certifications:
Required:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (minimum 5 years RSA Archer Admin). Required:
