Job Description
Route Delivery
Picking of route orders for route delivery Load and secure the truck Complete pre-trip inspection Correctly placard the vehicle Make deliveries as timely and efficient as possible. Deliver product to each customer in the specified area determined by the customer or salesman. Maintaining hazmat and DOT logs as required Operating in a safe means to achieve results. Inform warehouse manager of any inventory discrepancies. Communicating with warehouse manager regarding backorder fulfillment Communicating with salesmen regarding daily needs/concerns Maintaining DOT and HAZMAT logs as required Assuring prompt delivery of products Operating in a safe means to achieve results
Warehouse Area
Communicate with management and branches regarding customer concerns Inform warehouse manager of any inventory discrepancies as found
Vehicle Responsibilities
Assure vehicle is being used in safe condition Communicate vehicle issues to management as needed Maintain cleanliness of vehicle(s) used Comply with regulations, especially HAZMAT
Qualifications
Class B or A drive with HAZMAT endorsement Must be able to physically lift 75 pounds and be able to roll 55-gallon barrels on truck Team player Strong communication skills Time management
