Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary and Responsibilities Design, develop, analyze, test, and debug computer software applications and systems, including areas like Image and Signal Processing, Real-time, Firmware, Nuclear / Hi-Rel, FAA Certified, Database Design, Operating Systems, and Operator / Machine Interface. Lead a team of engineers on technical activities, ensuring completion on time and within budget. Support testing, documentation, and user interaction to define system requirements and modifications. Use CAD or other software for design/analysis; review customer specifications; develop designs supporting cost and manufacturing considerations. Provide budget, cost, and schedule inputs; evaluate suppliers and subsystems. Develop prototypes to mitigate development risks. Communicate effectively with team members and clients. Participate in proposal preparation and support other engineers and support staff. Lead and mentor less experienced engineers.

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with at least 5 years of experience. Proficiency in relevant technologies and application domains. Ability to independently lead a technical group.
