Design and implement core components of our new platform, integrating F5 technologies into the XC environment. Lead architecture and development of scalable, distributed systems for application delivery and control/config planes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, QA, SRE, and UI to deliver milestone objectives. Drive performance tuning, observability, and security integration across CE and RE nodes. Mentor engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence and innovation. Participate in milestone planning, demos, and technical reviews to ensure alignment and delivery. Regularly assist Architects and Managers with project scope and estimating. Architect and lead the development of scalable, secure, and high-performance data pipelines across distributed cloud and edge environments. Drive technical strategy for data infrastructure, aligning engineering efforts with business goals and product roadmaps. Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement. Collaborate cross-functionally with product, analytics, and infrastructure teams to ensure data solutions meet evolving organizational needs. Champion data governance, observability, and automation practices to ensure reliability, compliance, and operational excellence. Qualifications

10+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on distributed systems and cloud-native architectures. BS/BA or MS in Computer Science/related field or equivalent work experience. Expertise in programming languages such as Go, C/C++, or Rust. Proven ability to lead complex technical projects and mentor senior engineers. Familiarity with observability tools, security frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines. Extensive experience (10+ years) in designing and building scalable data pipelines and distributed systems across cloud and edge environments. Expert-level proficiency in data architecture, ETL frameworks, and technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Snowflake, and cloud-native platforms. Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a proven track record of guiding technical teams and fostering engineering excellence. Strategic thinking and ability to align data engineering initiatives with business goals, collaborating effectively with product and analytics teams.
