Job Title: Programmer Analyst
The Programmer Analyst develops and modifies complex technical computer software. They meet project deadlines to ensure satisfactory function of the software. Duties and Responsibilities: Frequently work with outside vendor representatives and technical teams that interface with internal applications Will be in an on-call rotation supporting applications 24/7 Provides technical support to programming and production operations area Works with other systems programmers to develop, install, modify, and maintain the operation system, software products and/or subsystems for network management, performance, and capacity management Leads the testing, debugging and modifications of software applications and validates their efficient use and integration Supports complex computer software such as utility programs, job control language, macros, and subroutines Provides technical advice on the operating system and subsystems including performance monitoring and measurement activity Performs other duties as assigned Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree 5+ years of related experience working in an IT environment providing production support for vendor applications with experience in installing, maintaining, and managing multiple applications/systems 5+ years knowledge and/or experience in a Windows and UNIX/LINUX environment 5+ years experience with job schedulers to create jobs including tasks and processes 5+ years experience with version control practices and version control tools 5+ years experience with IT system administration best practices 5+ years experience with JVMs 5+ years experience of Oracle, MSSQL, MongoDB, and DB2 databases and writing queries 5+ years experience with PowerShell, KSH, Bash, Perl, WLS, or similar 5+ years experience of System change control processes and familiarity with ServiceNow Preferred Qualifications: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to balance both development and support roles Experience in working on projects with an Agile methodology Strong interpersonal skills, focus on customer service, and the ability to work well with other IT, vendor, and business groups Excellent communication, design, documentation, analytical, and SDLC skills Zena scheduler experience Experience with Distributed Application support Providing production support for vendor applications with experience in installing, maintaining, and managing multiple applications/systems Experience using monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, and log files to evaluate the health of mission critical production applications and to identify root causes for performance and functional issues Experience with upgrades and installations for third party applications Exempt Status: Yes Workplace Type: Office Our Approach to Office Workplace Type Certain positions outside our branch network may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement.
